The official decision was announced at the JPCA board meeting on May 28. Dr. Kistler will be honored at the 2023 award ceremony on Sunday, June 11, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Kistler is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and the Department of Family Medicine. She is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with several certifications (Geriatrics, Hospice, Palliative Medicine). Dr. Kistler&#8217;s area of interest is decision-making related to the care of older adults. Her research has focused primarily on preventive services such as cancer screening and tobacco cessation.
