What\u2019s your role and how long have you been a part of our Department?<\/h3>\nKatie Barnes is an Administrative Coordinator for the Division of Nephrology. Katie also serves on various SOM committees, and loves Pete the Cat!<\/p>\n
What\u2019s your role and how long have you been a part of our Department?<\/h3>\nI am the Administrative Coordinator for the Department of Nephrology and have been in this position for about a year.<\/p>\n
I am originally from Connecticut, but grew up in South Florida near Pompano Beach.<\/p>\n
I really like the flexible schedule and being able to work from home. Being a mother of four does require flexibility! LOL<\/p>\n
I enjoy being on one of the SOM Committees. I have gotten to meet staff from other departments and have enjoyed collaboration on the Work-Life Balance & Wellness Team.<\/p>\n
I love how friendly and supportive the staff have been. I enjoy being in the office and miss interacting with everyone when working remotely.<\/p>\n
I have learned a lot over the past year with regards to travel, accounting and managing schedules. I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds with my position.<\/p>\n
I am responsible for many things, and it can be challenging at times. I may not know the answer, but I will make time to address all matters.<\/p>\n
I am proud to have an amazing family and be successful in my career.<\/p>\n
Visit Italy and swim in the clear blue water!<\/p>\n
I love to garden, cook and go for rides in my Jeep with the top down!<\/p>\n
Do things that make you truly happy and never give up!<\/p>\n
