The Leadership <\/em>in Academic Medicine Program<\/em> (LAMP) has been designed to assist junior faculty at UNC within their first 3 years to build a sense of community, purpose, direction, and confidence so they may thrive in their career.<\/p>\n

Drs. Arant and O’Shea<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Patrick O’Shea, MD, MBA,<\/a> assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine, and Elizabeth (Eli) Arant, MD,<\/a> assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases, were among the graduate of this year’s LAMP cohort.<\/p>\n

LAMP addresses the fundamentals of career planning and professional development while creating networking that will contribute to faculty success. The program is recruiting new applicants<\/a>.
