Nearly 50% faculty contributed to abstracts that were accepted at the Society of Hospital Medicine Triangle Chapter Research, Innovation<br \/>\nand Clinical Vignette Poster Competition. The majority of those abstracts were presented at the national SHM Converge in Las Vegas in April.<\/p>\n<p>The division provided 60 invited presentations across NC and the country on topics including POCUS, innovations related to patients \u201cmedically-ready\u201d for discharge, and the TEC2.0 curriculum. The division had 21 publications and four promotions,\u2014Evan Raff, MD to Professor of Medicine and Elizabeth Cole, MD, Rimma Osipov, MD, PhD, and Mukhtar Adem, MD, FACP to Associate Professor of Medicine. There are now three faculty members who have been promoted to Associate Professor while serving as full-time nocturnists, a remarkable achievement and a record of success rarely seen in other academic hospital medicine divisions.<\/p>\n<p>The following received division awards for FY25:<\/p>\n<div class=\"row  oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-9 col-md-9 col-xs-12 col-sm-12 oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n<p><b>Physician of the Year: William Kwan, MD: <\/b>Dr. Kwan was recognized for his clinical excellence, dedication to both bedside education and compassionate care, and for living the mission of our division.
