Ancel Keys\u2019 diet-heart hypothesis changed the way Americans eat and as a result has left us with significant unintended consequences.  Dr. Klett will review the history of the diet-heart hypothesis, the recently discovered unpublished data refuting the diet-heart hypothesis, and how changes in the type of dietary fatty acids consumed might be contributing to the development of diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Klett practices General Endocrinology with clinical interests in thyroid disease, lipid disorders and transgender medicine.
