She has a cohort of patients with this condition and, together with her UNC colleagues, is trying to understand this condition at all levels &#8212; in the clinic, in the community, and at the bench. Dr. Jerath firmly believes that what they learn has the potential to help not only her patients with this condition, but also to shed new light on the broader field of food allergy.<\/p>\n<p>Maya Jerath is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics and serves as Associate Chief of Clinical Allergy and Immunology in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology.
