And since no carbohydrate counting is required, it significantly reduces the burden on patients associated with diabetes management.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Since 2006 Steven Russell has collaborated on this project with Dr. Edward Damiano, a Biomedical Engineer at Boston University.
