Dr. Wesson will discuss how these findings are being translated into new, possibly disease-modifying treatments for chronic kidney disease.<\/p>\n<p>Donald Wesson is President of the Baylor Scott &amp; White Health and Wellness Center, Senior Vice President of Baylor Scott &amp; White Weight Management Services, and Professor of Medicine at Texas A&amp;M University College of Medicine.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"blue\">Every one to three years, the Division of Nephrology and Kidney Center invites a lecturer to honor the memory of Dr. William Blythe, II. Dr. Blythe, the first Division Chief for Nephrology and Hypertension at UNC, was an outstanding physician-scientist and teacher who inspired many of us to pursue nephrology.
