Nitin has used his Spanish speaking skills by serving as an interpreter with the student clinic through UPMC.\u00a0 In addition, he has been actively involved in multiple research projects focusing on the quality of post-ICU care and analyses of outcomes for people who are post-ICU survivors. In recognition of his outstanding patient care skills and compassion, Nimit was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
