{"id":65205,"date":"2023-07-12T10:14:47","date_gmt":"2023-07-12T14:14:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/?post_type=ud_entry&#038;p=65205"},"modified":"2023-10-18T11:15:08","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T15:15:08","slug":"michael-branham-md-ms","status":"publish","type":"ud_entry","link":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/medicine\/people\/michael-branham-md-ms\/","title":{"rendered":"Michael Branham, MD, MS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Michael is originally from a small town in Maryland and worked in landscaping and waiting tables before becoming the first in his family to attend medical school.\u00a0 Michael graduated from the University of Maryland, and then obtained a Master of Science in Medical Science at Drexel.\u00a0 While obtaining his Masters\u2019 degree, he worked as a research assistant with a project studying factors associated with traumatic brain injuries. He then stayed at Drexel for medical school where has been an outstanding student, serving as a student mentor.
