Andrei is from Boston and attended the Washington University in Saint Louis where he majored in Biochemistry. After college, Andrei worked for a year as a Case Management Assistant for Christ House, a medical respite facility for men who are experiencing homelessness. As a medical student, Andrei has continued to dedicate himself to caring for the underserved and vulnerable and has become a \u201cWhole Person Care Coach\u201d \u2013 helping other students to understand the importance of patient centered conversations. He has actively volunteered with the No One Dies Alone program, served as a peer academic coach and tutor, and was selected to be a group leader and communications director for the Academic Support Team for first- and second-year medical students. In recognition of his outstanding academic performance and commitment to his patients and peers, Andrei was inducted into both the AOA and Gold Humanism Honor Societies.
