After college, Sean worked as a pharmacy technician and later as a medical scribe while also volunteering as an ESL tutor and serving as a mentor for at risk high school students. As a medical student, he worked on a project to understand the effect of the CDC opioid guidelines on substance reduction between insurance types and the barriers to implementing a controlled substance safety committee in primary care practices. Sean has been an active volunteer with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, working with underserved high school students.
