After college, she worked for two years (during the pandemic) as a research assistant at Rhode Island Hospital with work that included cardiology focused bench research. As a medical student, she has been involved with the medical Spanish program, volunteered actively with the HOPES student clinic, served as a mentor for the Ultrasound in Medicine course, and worked as an EMT. In recognition of her outstanding academic performance, Catherine was inducted into the AOA Honor Society.
