His MPH practicum focused on work to improve upon the health of vulnerable patients in Eastern NC living with CKD by identifying available resources for addressing the social determinants of health. Jonathan also worked to help develop new sites for a barbershop-based blood pressure screening program in Durham and Chapel Hill, volunteers as an academic coach, and has served as a mentor in multiple roles.
