I. General Information Section
I was not born in the U.S. What should I put for birth state?
Under the state drop down menu, please choose “OC”, which stands for out of the country. List your birth city as, “City, Country”
II. Post-Secondary Education Section
What date should I enter if I am currently enrolled in school?
Leave blank if you have not completed degree yet.
What SAT, MCAT, DAT, GRE scores should I list?
You should list the highest score in each section of each test that you have taken, even if the scores are from tests taken at different times. You list scores for all tests that you have taken, no matter how long ago the tests were taken. Official copies of test results are NOT required.
III. Personal Essays
There are two slots for the personal statement section. Is the word limit 500 – 750 for each or combined? Should I submit one essay answering both questions or should I answer them separately?
The word limit is 500 – 750 for each question. Please answer each question separately in the given slots. There will be some overlap since the questions are related.
Can I leave items blank on the application?
No. All fields in the entire application should be completed. If a certain question does not pertain to you, simply put N/A, but do not leave the item blank.
I get an error message every time I try to save my page and move on to the next one. What should I do?
Please check to see that you have filled out all fields before proceeding forward. Review the page being saved. All errors will be annotated in RED.
When I input information, I get an error page. What do I need to do?
You may need to complete the application using a different browser, and clearing out your cookie cache. Otherwise, please take screen shots of 1) the page that shows what you keyed into the form, 2) of the error. Specify the section with the problem and email this and the screenshots to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and any additional explanation of your application issue.
*Note – please do not take a picture of your screen with a camera. It is difficult to view the screenshots.
What if I cannot open the online application?
Try cleaning out your cache of websites and then try to log in to our system. When your cache of internet sites is full, our system does not work too well. You may also encounter problems with one browser and may need to switch to a different browser. If you are still unable to log in, please contact our office.
What type of photograph should I upload?
The photograph should only be a head-shot of only you, and professional. Passport style photographs are the most professional and best suited for this type of application.
How do I check to see if my packet of information that includes my transcripts and letters of recommendation have been received?
Before you log into the application (main page), there is a link that read, “View Your Application Status.” Receipt of transcripts and other application details are listed here.
