Congratulations to Izzie Newsome, graduate student in Paul Dayton’s lab, for being awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award from the NIH. 
This award will fund the project, “Toward Clinical Translation of Acoustic Angiography: Optimization of Microvascular Ultrasound Imaging on a Novel Dual-Frequency Array,” over a 2-year period. Izzie is a third-year IVB trainee and a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering, advised by Dr. Paul Dayton.
