\"NIH\"<\/a>Dr. Lee received grant to study how, and to what extent, pregnancy hormones alter the expression and function of drug metabolizing enzymes and transporters in the liver and the hepatic clearance of drugs used to treat hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. With this funding, they will improve understanding of how drug clearance is altered during pregnancy and optimize drug dosing in obstetric patients.
