Congratulations to Jonathan Schisler, MS, Ph.D.<\/a>, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, in collaboration with Nathaniel J. Moorman, Ph.D.<\/a>, Associate Professor, Microbiology & Immunology, for publishing article, titled “Core mitochondrial genes are down-regulated during SARS-CoV-2 infection of rodent and human hosts\u201d, in the journal Science Translational Medicine.\"Science<\/a><\/p>\n

This was an epic effort, but Drs. Schisler and Moorman, along with other fine fellows at the University of North Carolina (UNC), got it done! Dr. Schisler was fortunate to lead the UNC effort on this.
