The medical school has announced that Dr. Jenny Ting, William Rand Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, will give the prestigious Norma Berryhill Lecture on Nov 3, 2010.
Dr. Ting has wide-ranging interests in immunobiology and is well known for using multiple technologies in her studies. She is co-director of the Inflammatory Diseases Institute and Director of the Center for Translational Immunology. Dr Ting is the fourth member of the department to be honored with this lectureship. Previous Berryhill lecturers include G. P. Manire PhD, P. F. Sparling, MD and J. S. Pagano, MD. Congratulations, Dr. Ting!
