This document is updated quarterly on the website.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/mmrrc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/459\/2026\/02\/2_11_2026-MMRRC-UNC-parasite-PCR.pdf\"><span class=\"xLargeFont\">MMRRC-UNC Parasite PCR Health Report<\/span><\/a><br \/>\nThis report summarizes the results of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests performed on Exhaust Air Duct (EAD) samples for internal and external parasites on all Individually Vented Cages (IVC) racks from all rooms in the MMRRC-UNC barrier-maintained production facility. This panel is run thrice-yearly, with the first test performed in June 2022. By allowing our mice to bypass quarantine, Investigators can begin their experiments earlier and save money from quarantine costs. All Centers maintain mice with the highest quality health status and have done so since the MMRRC began.
