Dr. Tierra Bobo of the Center for Molecular Medicine has been selected as a Simmons Scholar, joining a distinguished group of UNC faculty committed to advancing health equity in North Carolina.
The Simmons Scholars Program, established by former Dean Michael Simmons, provides funding to support faculty research, clinical innovation, and educational initiatives that address the needs of medically underserved communities.
