Dr. Tierra Bobo, faculty member in the Center for Molecular Medicine, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Junior Faculty Development Award, funded by IBM and R.J. Reynolds Industries.

Dr. Tierra Bobo of the Center for Molecular Medicine has been awarded the ASGCT Career Development Award, a prestigious $100,000 grant supporting independent, transformative pilot studies in gene and cell therapy.

On November 19, 2024, the Gene Therapy Center and Department of Pediatrics at UNC–Chapel Hill hosted the Jude Samulski Festschrift at the Carolina Club, followed by an evening reception at the Carolina Inn.
