Mobile Crisis<\/strong><\/td>\nPatients<\/td>\nMobile Crisis Teams are available 24\/7 in all NC counties. If you or a loved one is in crisis, you can call your county’s mobile crisis number and professional counselors will come to assist you in crisis. The average response time is 2 hours.<\/td>\nFranklin, Granville, Halifax, Vance, and Warren County: Daymark Recovery Services – (866)275-9552<\/p>\n

Person County: Freedom House Recovery Center –\u00a0(919)967-8844<\/td>\n

Mobile crisis teams will come to the location of the person in crisis.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Crisis Center<\/strong><\/td>\nPatients<\/td>\nCrisis centers are specialized clinics where patients and loved ones can walk in for a crisis assessment and referral to additional resources. Appointments are not needed.<\/p>\n

The patient MUST be a resident of the crisis center’s designated county to receive services.<\/td>\n

988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline<\/strong><\/td>\nPatients<\/td>\n24\/7 suicide hotline is available for patients and their loved ones<\/td>\nCall 988 or visit\u00a0https:\/\/988lifeline.org\/<\/a><\/td>\nTelephone line or online only – available nationally<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Officer<\/strong><\/td>\nPatients<\/td>\nMany counties have at least one CIT officer who is trained in de-escalating behavioral health crises.<\/td>\nIf there is an eminent, life-threatening emergency that requires police, call 911<\/strong> and ask for a CIT officer.<\/td>\nTelephone line only – CITs are not available in all NC counties.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Perinatal Substance Use Project<\/strong><\/td>\nBoth<\/td>\nProvides screening, information, and referrals (in-patient CASAWORKS and outpatient treatment) for pregnant and parenting women with dependent children.<\/td>\nPatients can call to get information or seek services<\/a> at 1-800-688-4232, Monday – Friday 8 am – 6 pm<\/td>\nPerinatal Substance Use Project serves all counties in NC and is a division of the Alcohol\/Drug Council of North Carolina.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
CASAWORKS<\/strong><\/td>\nBoth<\/td>\nCASAWORKS programs are residential SUD treatment centers aimed at supporting pregnant and parenting women with dependent child(ren) (under 12 years old). There are 13 CASAWORKS programs across the state. CASAWORKS programs house patients with their children and provide intensive biopsychosocial intervention (MAT, therapy, medical care, job training, and resources for children).<\/td>\nFor more information on bed availability and qualifications call: 1-800-688-4232, Monday-Friday 8 am – 6 pm<\/p>\n

UNC Perinatal Psychiatry Inpatient Unit<\/strong><\/td>\nBoth<\/td>\n5-bed inpatient unit at UNC-Chapel Hill Hospital for women with severe perinatal mood disorders. Intended to support stabilization and recovery. Family & baby can visit, but cannot stay with the patient overnight.<\/td>\nTo refer yourself or a patient from any county please call UNC Psychiatry Admissions at (984)-974-3834<\/p>\n
