DESCRIPTION:UNC Neurology is pleased to announce Dr. Jorge L. Almodóvar-Suárez\, MD\, FAAN as grand rounds speaker for September 25\, 2025. \nTitle: Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension \nDr. Almodóvar-Suárez is a Professor of Neurology at UNC-Chapel Hill. He also serves as the Neurology Division Chief for Comprehensive Neurology and is the Clinic Director of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Dr. Almodóvar-Suárez general areas of interest include: general neurology\, medical education\, clinical neurophysiology\, neuromuscular disorders\, motor neuron disorders\, and medical ethics. \n\nThe School of Medicine of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  The School of Medicine of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
