His areas of interest include vector-borne diseases\, tick-borne diseases\, malaria\, and spatial Epidemiology. \nDr. Boyce’s research focuses on the spatial and clinical epidemiology of malaria and other vector-borne diseases\, particularly in rural\, underserved communities. Patel\, PhD\, is a clinical and population health researcher with training in epidemiology and biostatistics. His research investigates systems of care for acute illness and injury\, with the goal of improving timely access to life‑saving treatments for rural and underserved populations.
