UNC Neuroscience Hospital

UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill includes the North Carolina Memorial Hospital, the North Carolina Neurosciences Hospital, the North Carolina Women’s and Children’s Hospitals, and the North Carolina Cancer Hospital. Adult Neurology residents train primarily at the Neuroscience Hospital as featured in most of the photos below.

The North Carolina Neurosciences Hospital serves as the inpatient facility for UNC Neurology, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, and Psychiatry. The helicopter pad for acute patient transfer is conveniently located on top of Neuroscience hospital and the emergency room is located in the basement.
