She collaborates with the Latin American Brain Injury Consortium, Latin American and Spanish Neurophysiology Societies, and multiple chapters of the International League Against Epilepsy to advance training in epilepsy, status epilepticus management, acute symptomatic seizures, and continuous EEG (cEEG) monitoring. Recognizing the limited availability of subspecialty training programs in many regions, she partners with local clinicians to build sustainable education and research initiatives tailored to available resources. Dr. Rubinos has led the implementation of continuous EEG programs in several Latin American intensive care units and is currently leading efforts to establish cEEG capacity in Zambia.
