On April 25, 2023, OTC awarded Dr. Todd Cohen\u2019s lab a Technology Commercialization Grant.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen explains, &#8220;We will be using this support from the Office of Technology Commercialization to advance gene therapies to target ALS patients. We hope to deliver protective genes directly to the degenerating neurons in ALS patients and thereby clear the toxic clumps of protein aggregates that are thought to kill brain cells.
