We are delighted to announce that Dr. Thiri Lin<\/strong>, Neurology PGY-3, has been selected for the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Resident Research Scholarship Award\u2014a highly competitive resident research honor. Each year, only five residents nationwide are chosen from dozens of applications.<\/p>\n

This award will support the final phase of the project \u201cFrom Guidelines to Bedside: Scaling a Status Epilepticus Management Bundle Across North Carolina (G2B-SE Bundle).\u201d Dr. Lin has been working on this initiative under the mentorship of Dr. Clio Rubinos, who served as the faculty mentor on the grant submission. Together, they have been developing this hybrid implementation-science\u2013driven project over the past two years with the goal of improving status epilepticus care across diverse healthcare settings in North Carolina. The work was also recently recognized with the UNC Health Community Health Impact Award, underscoring its innovation and statewide relevance.<\/p>\n
