Carolina For The Kids is dedicated to providing meaningful medical, emotional, and financial support to the patients and families at UNC Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>This annual award recognizes clinicians and medical staff who go above and beyond in delivering compassionate, patient\u2011centered care. Each year, nurses, physicians, and medical personnel across UNC Children\u2019s are invited to nominate colleagues who have made a profound impact on patients, families, and their care teams. Dr. Shiloh\u2011Malawsky\u2019s nomination reflects her extraordinary dedication to children and families navigating rare and complex neurological conditions. She consistently provides innovative, empathetic care\u2014often when options are limited\u2014and is a strong advocate for inclusive medical education and mentorship, ensuring that both her patients and future physicians are supported with empathy, equity, and excellence.<\/p>\n<p>As an award recipient, <strong>Dr. Shiloh\u2011Malawsky will be honored at the 24th Annual Benefit Reception on Friday, February 20, at The Carolina Club from 7\u201310 p.m.<\/strong>, where she will be recognized as a special guest.
