Featured on Facebook Live and YouTube, we will host an at-home 5K, share stories from survivors and team captains, recognize the Keeping the Faith and Stevie Patrick Legacy of Love recipients and remember those we\u2019ve lost during our Celebration of Life. Email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Kelsi@headforthecure.org\">Kelsi@headforthecure.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #1686cc;\">Things to Know:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Will I Still Get My Shirt and Medal?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>YES!\u00a0We will be mailing all shirts and medals to each participant after the race.\u00a0Please be sure that the address entered when registering is the address you would like your items shipped to. Shirts and medals will arrive\u00a0approximately\u00a0two weeks after the event due to\u00a0the needed time for\u00a0production\u00a0printing and shipping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How Can You Help?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Encourage registrations and donations! Our grants for clinical research and patient programs to the <strong>UNC Brain Tumor Program<\/strong> and the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative come from our race proceeds. We can&#8217;t make an impact in this fight against brain cancer without YOU!<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #1686cc;\">HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE VIRTUAL 5K:<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #1686cc;\">Before\u00a0the\u00a05K:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Complete Your Own Physical Activity!<\/strong>\u00a0Go for a run or walk in your neighborhood or on a treadmill, ride a bike, mow the lawn or simply do any physical activity of your choice the week leading up to the event!\u00a0Please practice social distancing guidelines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Document Your Activity!\u00a0<\/strong>Snap a selfie to share on Facebook during the virtual event using @headforthecure.\u00a0We encourage you to wear a Head for the Cure shirt from a previous event!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Share the event on Social Media!<\/strong>\u00a0Spread awareness by inviting friends to attend the Facebook Live event or watch on YouTube.
