Sankar Alagapan

Sancar Alagapan, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Fellow at UNC-Chapel Hillin the laboratory of Flavio Frohlich.  He has been selected as the recipient of the Helen Lyng White Fellowship in 2016.

Sankar is currently investigating the effect of periodic electrical stimulation on cognition, leveraging access to invasive electrophysiological recordings in human patients with epilepsy. The study aims to provide a framework for developing novel brain stimulation strategies for treatment of neurological and psychiatric disorders
