In the Leutgeb Lab, she studied spatial learning and memory networks to decode how specialized cell types in hippocampus and medial entorhinal cortex (grid cells!) represent space and time using in vivo electrophysiology. In the fall of 2017, Olivia moved to Chapel Hill to pursue a PhD in neuroscience.
