Mealer, MD, PhD"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Areas of Interest<\/h1>\n<p>Genetics of severe mental illness, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder<\/p>\n<h1>About<\/h1>\n<div class=\"som-directory-profile-single__about\">\n<p>As an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Genetics, Dr. Mealer\u2019s research focuses on schizophrenia risk genes and glycosylation, the process of adding carbohydrates to proteins and lipids to regulate their function.
