The 18th Annual UNC Neuroscience Symposium will be held on Thursday, October 5 at the Carolina Club.

The annual Andrew S Rachlin UNC Neuroscience Symposium will be held on October 5th, 2017 at the Carolina Club. This year’s Symposium will focus on Alzheimer’s Disease and Neurodegeneration. The keynote speakers will be Karen Duff, PhD (Professor of Pathology & Cell Biology at Columbia University in St. Louis) and David Holtzman, MD (Andrew B. & Gretchen P. Jones Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine). There will also be brief presentations highlighting the work in this area of UNC scientists: Juan Song, Todd Cohen, Mohanish Deshmukh, Guorong Wu, and Aravind Asokan.

This event is free and open to the public. Breakfast will begin at 8:15am.
