Dr. Sanders is a Postdoctoral researcher in the State Lab at Yale University. The State Lab applies both wet-lab and dry-lab approaches to unraveling complex psychiatric disease phenotypes. Approaches include copy-number variation analysis, high-throughput resequencing (both targeted amplicon and whole-exome) at the Yale Center for Genomic Analysis core facility, expression data from rtPCR, and functional assays in model organisms such as zebrafish. Dr. Sanders will be jointly hosted by the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities and the Neuroscience Center.
The title of his seminar will be:
"A Genetic Approach to Understanding the Etiology of Autism"
