The six core areas that will be supported by this award are genomics and bioinformatics, gene expression localization, BAC (Bacterial Artificial Chromosome) engineering technology, embryonic stem cell technology, multiphoton and confocal imaging and assay development for high throughput screening.<\/p>\n<div class=\"plain\">\n<p>The UNC Neuroscience Center Research Cores will serve the entire neuroscience community in UNC\u2019s School of Medicine and for the sciences in UNC-Chapel Hill.
