The UNC Department of Neurosurgery is pleased to announce the results of our 2019 residency match. Aaron Gelinne and Sam Reed will be joining our department this summer as first year neurosurgery residents.

Aaron is currently a 4th-year medical student at the Robert Lerner, MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. Sam is currently a 4th-year medical student here in Chapel Hill at the UNC School of Medicine.

All of us in the Department of Neurosurgery are very pleased to be welcoming Sam and Aaron into our residency training program and look forward to working with each of them over the next seven years.
