She completed her surgical internship and her neurosurgery residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. She also served as chief resident in neurosurgery at the VA Medical Center and the Chandler Medical Center, both in Lexington, KY. Dr. Tyler is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
