At the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) annual meeting this year, international film and broadcasting company WebsEdge produced ACOG TV, a daily broadcast featuring thought leadership segments, interviews, reports, recaps of key talks, and conference news.

One episode featured UNC OB-GYN’s Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. The video was screened on monitors throughout the Washington Convention Center over the 4 days of the meeting and at selected hotel rooms.

Segments are also available on-demand after the conference at the 2016 ACOG Annual Meeting website.

“The future of the work of maternal-fetal medicine here at UNC is vast, really,” said Dr. M. Kathryn Menard, division chief for maternal-fetal medicine at UNC OB-GYN.

“It is totally going to be grounded in our commitment to the mission of furthering the health and well being of women and infants in North Carolina. We have a foundation for great clinical care in the context of an environment that is very conducive to learning. And we can extend our influence in really important ways by training fellows, residents, and students in the art of maternal-fetal medicine.”
