Dr. AnnaMarie Connolly has been named UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Vice Chair for Education.
Dr. Connolly joins the departmental leadership team:

- Kim Schneider, MPH, CMPE | Vice Chair for Administration
- John M. Thorp, Jr, MD | Vice Chair for Research
Dr. Connolly has a total “passion” for all things educational. She has served in recent past as the third year clerkship director, fellowship director of the urogynecology fellowship and currently as the department’s residency program director. On a national level, she is a member of the ACGME’s Residency Review Committee for Graduate Medical Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has a number of educational roles in American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS).
