Angelica Glover, MD, FACOG
Assistant Professor, Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Dr. Glover received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 2006 and her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2012. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016 and her Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at UNC in 2019. Dr. Glover is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board-eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Glover is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Her clinical activities include management of medically complicated pregnancies, labor and delivery, and prenatal diagnosis. Her clinical interests include hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, maternal cardiac disease, placenta accreta spectrum, obstetric surgical complications. and postpartum care (the “4th trimester”).
Dr. Glover is actively involved in obstetric quality improvement initiatives within UNC and through the Perinatal Quality Collaborative of North Carolina. She is engaged in advocacy efforts at the state level through the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine State Liaison Network and the National Hispanic Medical Association.
