Elysia Davis received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland in College Park and her Master’s in Genetic Counseling from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Elysia was board certified as a genetic counselor by the American Board of Genetic Counseling in 2013.
Elysia joined the Maternal-Fetal Medicine faculty in 2014 as a reproductive genetic counselor and clinical instructor. In her role as educator, Elysia is involved in didactic and clinical teaching of a variety of learners, including medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as genetic counseling students. As a clinician, Elysia provides genetic counseling services for a variety of indications such as advanced maternal age, positive aneuploidy or carrier screening results, family history concerns, and ultrasound anomalies. Elysia has enjoyed various leadership roles in professional committees with the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the American Board of Genetic Counseling. Her current areas of interest are ultrasound anomalies and community outreach.
