Dr. Lauren D. Schiff is a fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon and a board certified obstetrics and gynecology physician. She attended medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, New York, completed residency at Boston Medical Center of Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed fellowship subspecialty training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Schiff is an expert minimally invasive surgeon and treats the full scope of gynecologic surgical and pelvic pain issues including fibroids, endometriosis, heavy or abnormal uterine bleeding, essure-related pain, pelvic floor dysfunction. Her special interests are in robotic surgery, fibroid and endometriosis care, surgical care for obese women, and hormone-related mood disorders.

Dr. Schiff’s goal is to understand each individual patient’s personal well-being priorities and create a care plan based on both patient goals and the best evidenced-based medical recommendations. Dr. Schiff is fluent in Spanish.

When not providing medical care, Dr. Schiff enjoys adventuring outdoors, traveling, baking, and spending time with her two boys and husband.
