Dr. Elizabeth Stringer, associate professor of maternal-fetal medicine at UNC OB-GYN, has been appointed a member of the International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s (IJGO) Editorial Board.

Dr. Stringer will serve as the magazine’s public health obstetric consultant representative, reviewing articles, triaging new submissions and attending the Editorial Board meeting held annually in London.

IJGO is the official publication of FIGO, the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and publishes articles on all aspects of basic and clinical research in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology and related subjects, with emphasis on matters of worldwide interest.
