The mission of the UNC Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is to improve the lives and health of North Carolinians and others whom we serve. We provide quality, patient-centered health care services; educate health care providers and investigators to be the leaders of tomorrow; and conduct research to advance knowledge in our field. We are guided by a commitment to health care justice and equity for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status, or gender identity.
