Jennifer Mersereau, MD

Jennifer Mersereau, MD, director of UNC’s Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and infertility, has been promoted to full professor. She is a leader in fertility preservation for patients with cancer and other illnesses, and she has long been known for her excellence in clinical care, scholarly research and education.

Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Jennifer Mersereau attended college at Northwestern University and received her MD from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed a residency in OB-GYN and earned a master’s in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) at Northwestern. She completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of California at San Francisco and joined the UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and infertility in 2007.
