Interim leadership assignments for UNC Pelvic Health.
We are sad to share that Dr. Catherine Matthews will be leave UNC at the end of this academic year. Over the past 4 1/2 years, Dr. Matthews has done a tremendous job in expanding her division to one of the strongest urogynecology divisions in the nation. The excellence and innovation in clinical care, a superb educational program for all learners is balanced with an exceptional research program.
During this transition the following interim leadership has been assigned:
- Dr. Jennifer Wu will serve as interim division director and clinic medical director for UNC Pelvic Health at Rex.
- Dr Liz Geller will serve as the clinic medical director for UNC Pelvic Health at Hillsborough.
- Dr. Catherine Matthews will continue to serve on the Hillsborough Medical Office Building Leadership Committee.
