Dr. Hendrée Jones, executive director of UNC Horizons, and Dr. Neeta Vora, assistant professor in the division of maternal-fetal medicine, were both featured in UNC Research’s weekly feature ‘Women in Science Wednesday.’

About the series: “UNC Research is proud of every scientist on this campus, but we are especially excited to promote our female researchers in 2016. Each week this year, we will publish a short Q&A feature on one of them — whether she is an undergrad, PhD candidate, or full professor.”

Dr. Jones is an internationally recognized expert in the development and examination of both behavioral and pharmacologic treatments for at-risk pregnant women and their children. Dr. Vora is UNC OB-GYN’s director of reproductive genetics and a member of Caregivers at Carolina, which supports young doctors who see patients and also conduct research.
