The UNC Horizons Holiday Tree offers our community a chance to help clients create warm holiday memories for their children on Christmas morning.

The tree is located in the OB-GYN Chair’s Office in 3009 Old Clinic Building. Each ornament or candy cane on the tree has one suggested gift item, which should be placed under the tree unwrapped. Take as many as you like!

All gifts must be returned to the tree by Dec. 11, and clients will celebrate the season with events to browse the donations and choose and prepare the best gifts for their children on Dec. 18 and 19.

Such a special holiday would not be possible without the compassion and support of these donations. Horizons also has a donations room, and you can donate any gently used holiday decorations that you no longer need, along with any gently used women’s or children’s clothing, coats and other housewares. Horizons will also accept wrapping paper for the clients to wrap gifts.

If you have questions about the tree or how to support the donations room, contact Rachel Middlesteadt-Ellerson at 919-618-5410 or RachelM@unc.edu.

UNC Horizons expresses their deep and sincere gratitude for your donations and wishes all a wonderful holiday season!
